The larger than life gaming capability is reflected in its theme, the Lost Vegas Maze! This high rolling adventure caps 10 years of mazing fun at Davis’ Mega Maze.

It’s all or nothing in this high stakes, family friendly adventure (without the gambling.) “The Maze is designed for adults, but history has taught us that children almost always beat their parents.” Owner Larry Davis said, “This is a genuine bonding experience for families and friends.” There’s interactive games, action courses, facepainting, a cool-off station, photo-ops... even a farm version of golf! Spin the wheel, roll the dice and take your chances with the many twists and turns.

The Davis’ giant, world-class field maze is unrivaled in maze network complexity. “It’s the most incredible, 3-dimensional, complex net-work ever created in a cornfield,” says world renowned maze designer Adrian Fisher, “and will delight everyone with an adventurous spirit.” It contains miles of pathways, the most bridges in any field maze and includes the world’s first and only double-decker bridge. As if that didn’t make it complex enough, “This is the world’s only Dynamic field maze, meaning it has the capacity to change its pathways and solutions every day,” Davis explains, “There are hundreds of ways to complete this maze.No two visits will ever be the same.”

Another first at Davis’ Mega Maze is X-treme Mazing which offers extra goals, challenges and choices not found in a typical maze. In addition to the traditional meandering style of solving a maze, guests can now personally tailor their maze experience to their own level of intensity allowing casual mazers and high rollers alike to maximize the odds of having the time of their life!

Maze architect Adrian Fisher, drafted this “a-MAZE-ing” puzzle from his home in Dorset, England. For the past 25 years, Mr. Fisher has designed over 500 mazes in 27 countries on six continents that grace castles, palaces, chateaus and visitor attractions. “Adrian’s designs meld incredible geometric networks with compelling works of art,” Davis says. Since designing the world’s first cornfield maze, Adrian has created a number of “Signature Series” maize-mazes each year. These creations include the finest field maze in the United States at Davis’ Mega Maze. Fisher says, “Each year since its conception, Davis’ Mega Maze has consistently out done itself and changed the face of mazing.”

The Davis farmers carefully construct the Mega Maze and this extensive project requires nearly 14,000 labor hours just in preparation for opening day. “The crews include research, concept, art, filming, site development, field cultivators and crop specialists, set builders and designers, and the ‘action team’ that carves the maze,” explains Davis. “We hope our visitors enjoy this all-natural adventure as much as we enjoyed creating it for them.”

Lucky 2007 marks the 10th maze at Davis’ Mega Maze. Each year, the maze is brand new, returning to a mere field at season’s end. Past themes have included (in order) Double-Dragons, Pirates, Aliens, Dinosaurs, Spies, Knights, the Wild West, Superheroes and the Great Movie Maze. “Over the years,” Davis says, “we have consistently changed the maze to make it more challenging, interactive, theme immersive, and fun.”
